The role

The PROJECT MANAGER role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your talents and experience to a growing team. Every day will be different, working on a diverse range of projects, technologies, and customers ensuring that the design and implementation of a product are aligned with enterprise guidelines, standards, and validated approaches.

In the role of Project Manager, you will partner with our customers to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and successfully implement Esko software solution projects.

You are responsible for the overall implementation, being the key contact towards our customers during deployment. Key focus will be on customer satisfaction and successful, profitable delivery of projects.

You will also ensure facilitation of smooth transitions of the customers from Project Lifecycles into After Care.

Critical Success Factors for the Ideal Candidate Profile are:

  • 3 to 5 years customer-oriented Project Management skills/experience, ideally in the Packaging or Software Deployment industries with overall 10yrs work experience.
  • Utilizes critical thinking/problem solving skills whilst being a strong multi-tasker & resilient
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced experience in use of Microsoft’s Suite of Apps, including MS Project and Power BI. (others are a plus)
  • Proven track record to work in multi-functional teams, networking, coaching and mentoring effectively with others to achieve desired goals.
  • Consistent track record to work well in ambiguous scenarios, defining and driving desired success.
  • Able to prosper in a fast-paced environment that fosters change, creativity and flexibility.
  • Self-driven, eager to contribute, develop, learn and grow.
  • Technically well-grounded and have a hands-on mentality for Continuous Improvement & Sustainment.

We are looking for a professional who is:

  • Manages project implementations and assures synchronization between plan and reality regarding the triple constraint.
  • Coordinates resource planning and deliverables, ensuring that customer commitments are met.
  • Oversees the successful transition of the project from sales to deployment, through the project lifecycle, and then from deployment to after care, to ensure continuous provision of a high level of care to the customer.
  • Communicates effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leads, develops and organizes your project team(s) effectively (including measurements).
  • Is responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition and invoicing to customers.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will include: 

  • Bachelor or Master degree (or equivalent professional qualification)
  • Further education, degree or recognized certification in Project Management
  • You are proficient in English, knowledge of other languages is considered as a plus
  • You have extensive experience working in a customer facing service department
  • Validation experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industry is considered a plus
  • You have a minimum of 3 years related and relevant experience in areas such as, but not limited to:
  • Business process or asset management technology, ideally in a marketing or packaging domain
  • Providing software and/or services to consumer goods, pharmaceutical or retail customers
  • Experience in Esko software (WebCenter, MediaBeacon, Automation Engine) along with experience in Packaging is considered a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of your time normally, with higher peaks during busy periods
