Project Manager

Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for successful project execution and exists to ensure that we are delivering profitability to the business whilst meeting (and hopefully exceeding) our client’s expectations. Key responsibilities are to deliver projects on time, to specification and within budget. The Project Manager will work closely with the Client Manager and other team members across the Research Hub as well as interact directly with Sales. The position requires strong project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the CM (indirect support to Sales) through all aspects of delivering on a project with independent responsibility for executing on many projects’ tasks.
- Active involvement in project set-up and briefing other internal Research Hub teams on study specific details.
- Review specification and identify changes to project scope and work with Client Manager to flag to Sales to take appropriate action, (e.g. re-cost, suggest changes to meet original budget)
- Assess risks to completion of project to plan and budget; communicate and implement mitigating actions accordingly either directly with the internal team and/or in consultation with Client Manager.
- Plan detailed internal timeline according to questionnaire programming and the client’s key deliverable requirements (e.g. interim data, final SPSS file)
- Coordinate internal resource/ 3 rd parties throughout the project set-up phase (e.g. translations, survey programming)
- Coordinate client fieldwork reporting requirements to ensure the client informed of fieldwork progress and any potential issues
- Manage fieldwork process utilizing internal panels and our internal tools
- Manage external fieldwork partners, to ensure the client requirements are met.
- Coordinate internal/ 3rd parties to ensure all delivery requirements are met, error free and according to client's requirements
- Constantly review budget versus actual spend and ensure there is a clear understanding of the reasons for any overrun, taking appropriate action
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, administration, or a related field.
- Excellent Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Experience in project management (in university and/or previous job).
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Working knowledge of Excel (Pivot table, VLOOKUP, logical formulas).
- True team player.
- Ability to work under pressure.
