What You'll Do:

  • Lead & Manage Projects:
    • Assemble and guide project teams of developers, analysts, and other internal and external resources to achieve successful project execution.
    • Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery, ensuring projects stay on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Client Partnership:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing transparent, proactive communication.
    • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring they’re informed, engaged, and satisfied with the progress and outcomes of their projects.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Create detailed project plans that define project scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and key milestones.
    • Adjust plans dynamically as project requirements evolve, keeping all stakeholders aligned on changes.
  • Problem-Solving & Risk Management:
    • Identify potential project risks early, and develop effective mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
    • Quickly resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and deliverables.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to design, implement, test, and launch any necessary software customizations for clients.
    • Ensure a smooth handover to the client, with thorough testing, documentation, and post-launch support.

What We're Looking For:Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally in implementation, customer onboarding or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with client-facing roles and building long-term business relationships.
  • Industry experience in equipment finance, leasing, or financial services is a bonus.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Experience with project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Excel, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with financial software, lease/loan portfolio management, or asset management systems is advantageous.

Industry-Specific Qualifications:

  • Lease Accounting Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with industry-specific accounting standards such as ASC 842 and IFRS 16, and experience applying these standards within software solutions.
  • Equipment Leasing Industry Background:
    • Experience working in the equipment leasing, asset finance, or financial services industries is a significant advantage, with a deep understanding of lease structures, lifecycle management, and asset tracking.
  • Portfolio Management Software Expertise:
    • Previous experience with lease/loan portfolio management systems or financial software implementations, especially within the leasing or finance sectors.
