What You’ll Do:
- Manage complex projects from design and development to production.
- Create and execute project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identify resources needed at the project level and assign individual responsibilities to Project Engineers.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and resolving issues that come up.
- Effectively apply Dataprise methodology and enforce project standards.
- Communicate with internal and external customers, including project kickoff meetings, regular status updates, and engagement reviews.
- Ensure project documents are complete, accurate, and stored appropriately.
- Manage project budgets and forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions where appropriate.
- Minimize exposure and risk to Dataprise on projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes based on previous experience and industry standards.
- Work to continually increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Strive to enhance department and organization by exhibiting ownership and exploring opportunities that add value to job accomplishments.
What Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
- 4+ years IT project management experience.
- Experience working under a structured Project Management Office (PMO).
- Proven leadership, management, analytical, problem solving and technical skills.
- Demonstrated, proven, and polished "soft skills" including:
- Diplomacy and ability to navigate challenging political waters.
- Strength and confidence.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- An aptitude for technology.
- Experience working in cross functional teams.
- Current PMP and ITIL Foundation certifications strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business area preferred.
