Corrpro Canada is Canada's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for protecting and preserving infrastructure. We provide professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro Canada has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any cathodic protection system for any type of structure.
WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Plan and coordinate multiple projects of extended duration
- Oversee the assignment of work to approximately 5 to 10 staff members to effectively utilize resources and meet commitments to customers
- Assist with the review of all customer contracts, purchase orders, and work authorizations regarding proposed scope of work, customer expectation, and project objectives.
- Monitor operations personnel to ensure they are using the most appropriate methods and procedures to meet the requirements established with customers
- Work within allotted time constraints to complete project deliverables
- Generate and ensure all project documentation is technically correct and meets the Company’s minimum performance standards
- Ensure that billing sheets are accurately prepared and submitted to customers
- Assist in the analysis of the monthly Job Cost Report for individual projects and ensure budget goals are met
- Assist with new capital expense requirements during the preparation of each fiscal year’s budget
- Participate in meetings with clients
- Contact customer regularly to maintain open communication of job schedule
- Direct customer service and follow-up efforts to assure continuing conformance of projects to all requirements, including but not limited to customer requirements, testing requirements, cost and profitability requirements, and growth requirements
- Develop, organize and maintain engineering specifications / standards by consolidating and assimilating best operating practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
- PMP Certification preferred
- 7 years of experience managing services and product projects within industrial or energy industries
- Cathodic protection project experience helpful
- Experienced in working directly with Client engineers and other contacts
- Must be able to partner with several groups within the company and customers
- Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed
