Job Summary:

Our Professional Services Department is looking for a hardworking, innovative and goal driven Project Manager to contribute to the continued success of our company. This position will be a member of our Professional Services team, and is the primary implementation management resource in an exciting, customer interfacing role that is responsible for managing client engagements, internal project team performance, including functional and operational aspects of the project including scope, budget and timeline. Excellent communication, along with problem solving and organizational skills are crucial to the success of this position.

This is a hybrid position with a minimum requirement of 2-3 days per week working from our headquarters in Peachtree Corners, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Resource Utilization and Schedule Adherence: Effectively use resources and adhere to project schedules to ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance through Coordination: Coordinate internal and external resources to guarantee the quality of project outputs.
  • Guidance and Project Authority: Offer guidance and establish authority for all project activities, ensuring clear direction and task assignment within the project team.
  • Project Planning and Milestone Management: Complete detailed project plans accurately, providing timelines with project milestones for clear tracking and assessment.
  • Effective Communication: Facilitate communication within the project team and with clients to meet both corporate and client objectives efficiently.
  • Client and Vendor Interface: Negotiate coordination issues and deliverables with clients and vendors for successful project implementation.
  • Status Reporting: Regularly provide status reports as defined by the project, adhering to established communication plans.
  • Support to Executive Management and Sales: Assist in client management and sales efforts, identifying potential for additional sales to existing clients.
  • Policy and Procedure Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, business processes, and workflows, maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency.
  • Consistent Time Entry: Ensure timely and accurate entry of time spent on projects, supporting billable activities and project tracking.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in managing software solution implementations, preferably for financial institutions.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, able to communicate clearly and professionally across all levels of the organization.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, contributing to a collaborative work culture.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficieny with project planning tools and techniques, including MS Project and/or PSA systems, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Specific Software Solution Experience: Experience with specific software solutions relevant to financial institutions, such as enterprise content management systems or check processing solutions.
  • Product-Based Company Experience: Background in working at a product-based software company.
  • Sales Management Knowledge: An understanding of the sales management function, with the ability to support sales efforts and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Superior oral and written communication skills, with a track record of effective presentations.
  • Certifications: PMI Certification is preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Flexibility: Availability to work weekends or be on call after hours as needed.
  • Travel: Up to 25% domestic travel may be required.
