Key Responsibilities

·                Plan, execute, and close Sterling OMS programs and projects from initiation through hypercare, within agreed scope, schedule, and budget.

·                Develop integrated project plans, milestones, resource forecasts, and dependency maps across OMS, eCommerce, ERP, WMS, payment, tax, and shipping workstreams.

·                Lead requirements gathering and scope definition with business stakeholders, and manage change requests through a formal control process.

·                Partner with solution architects and technical leads to validate designs, approve estimates, and govern technical decisions.

·                Manage delivery risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating and resolving blockers with clear mitigation plans.

·                Run agile ceremonies or stage-gated governance as appropriate, tracking velocity, burn-down, and quality metrics.

·                Coordinate testing cycles (SIT, UAT, performance, cutover) and go-live readiness, including deployment and environment planning with release teams.

·                Oversee production support transitions, post-go-live stabilization, and defect triage prioritization.

·                Report program status, financials, and risks to executive sponsors and steering committees.

·                Mentor project coordinators and team leads, and build delivery standards and reusable templates.

Required Skills

·                8–10 years of project or program management experience, including at least 4 years leading IBM Sterling OMS or comparable order management implementations.

·                Working knowledge of the Sterling OMS landscape, including order orchestration, inventory, sourcing, scheduling, release, shipment, and fulfillment.

·                Proven experience managing integrations with eCommerce, ERP, WMS, payment, tax, fraud, and shipping systems, including REST/SOAP-based middleware.

·                Strong command of delivery methodologies (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid) and waterfall stage-gate governance.

·                Proficiency with planning and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project) and reporting dashboards.

·                Demonstrated ability to manage vendor, offshore, and multi-team delivery, including budget and resource forecasting.

·                Strong risk, issue, and change management discipline, with clear written and verbal communication for executive audiences.

·                Familiarity with CI/CD release processes, environment management, and production cutover planning.

Preferred Skills

·                PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent certification.

·                Experience delivering Sterling OMS cloud implementations, including OMOC 2.0.

·                Exposure to MuleSoft, IBM App Connect, IBM MQ, or Kafka-based integration programs.

·                Experience with high-volume order processing, omnichannel fulfillment, and inventory synchronization initiatives.

·                Background in retail, distribution, or e-commerce operations.
