Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) modules and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale healthcare or government technology projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, and state teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities✅ Lead end-to-end implementation of MMIS modules and components
✅ Define and manage project scope, timelines, budget, implementation plans, and risk mitigation strategies
✅ Coordinate vendors, project managers, and stakeholders through effective project governance and master scheduling
✅ Monitor project risks, deliverables, and overall project performance
✅ Ensure all project requirements and deliverables are successfully met
✅ Manage resources across multiple vendors and state teams through planning, implementation, go-live, and certification phases
✅ Provide regular project updates to leadership, executives, and legislative stakeholders
✅ Analyze project progress and proactively address challenges
Required Skills & Experience✔️ 5+ years of Project Management experience in technology projects within healthcare or state government environments
✔️ Strong organizational and leadership skills
✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔️ Experience managing project deadlines and critical paths
✔️ Ability to gather business requirements and prioritize analytics, reporting, and data initiatives
