We’re hiring a Project Manager at our rental facility in Richmond, VA, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the field sales team with project planning and execution.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing daily job site activities related to concrete operations
Participate in training sessions and ride-alongs with concrete team members
Support project planning and execution for slab-on grade and tilt-up construction
Coordinate material deliveries to meet project deadlines
Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at each project
Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Director of the Concrete Division
Track and report job progress, delays, and material needs
Assist in managing branch inventory as needed in support of the Concrete Division
Document field issues or inefficiencies to the appropriate parties
Work alongside equipment rental and consumables teams to ensure full project support

Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong organizational and time-management skills in fast-paced environments
Ability to communicate effectively with crews, leadership, and vendors
Basic understanding of construction drawings and concrete work processes
Willingness to learn and grow within the construction materials and equipment industry
Self-motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of building material sales experience
Project management experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Spend extended periods of time sitting, standing and walking throughout the workday
Perform repetitive motions such as gripping, twisting, and turning when operating tools or performing technical tasks

Skills Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in construction, industrial services, equipment rental, or a related field
- Experience managing multiple construction or industrial projects simultaneously
- Strong project management, organizational, and scheduling skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specifications
- Experience coordinating labor, equipment, subcontractors, and material deliveries
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA compliance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Proven experience leading field operations and managing customer-facing construction projects
- Experience with temporary structures, clear-span structures, industrial tents, temporary warehouses, modular facilities, scaffolding, or similar construction projects
- Experience supporting refinery turnarounds, industrial shutdowns, petrochemical facilities, manufacturing, commercial construction, or large industrial projects
- OSHA 30 certification
