The Role
The Project Manager coordinates projects from scope definition through delivery, managing timelines, budgets, milestones, risks, issues, change requests, vendors, and customer satisfaction. The role builds and leads cross-functional teams, tracks financials, metrics, SLAs, and KPIs, and presents project information to executives. It also develops project plans, supports program structures, manages stakeholder relationships, and drives continuous process improvement across supply chain and business operations.

Role requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years project and/or program management experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years proven experience leading cross-functional teams, i.e.: sales/business development/operations management.
  • Excellent understanding of financial processes with the ability to create pro forma, track project metrics, forecast future trends and manage change.
  • Ability to work independently and track the project timelines.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  • Strong MS office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc).
  • Proficiency in working with project management software, i.e.: MS Project.
  • Must have strong presentation and relationship building skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, preferred.
  • Strong command of English language.

World Wide Technology EMEA has an opportunity available for a Project Manager position.

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the coordination of all aspects of assigned projects to meet and exceed customer expectations.  Understands the programmatic approach (including global) and possesses the ability to build program structure. Incorporates lessons learned into continuous process improvement actions either within supply chain or elsewhere in the business. 

 

 

Role responsibilities & duties:

  • Acts as Single-Point-of Contact (SPoC) for a project and be accountable for optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Documents and manages project scope, goals, timelines/milestones, budgets, and specific deliverables while keeping project teams highly engaged, motivated, and accountable.
  • Identifies and manages project risks, issues, action items, change requests and decisions including mitigation approaches and contingency plans.
  • Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Develops a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Builds high performing cross-functional teams.
  • Interacts with Program customers and vendors if needed.
  • Conducts all business in a manner that is consistent with World Wide Technology Core Values.
  • Identifies, evaluates and manages project team leads.
  • Compiles and presents relative data points to executive stakeholders and management.
  • Manages financials, metrics, service level agreements and key performance indicators.

Skills Required

  • At least 3 years of project and/or program management experience
  • At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including pro forma creation, project metrics, forecasting, and change management
  • Ability to work independently and track project timelines
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project
  • Project Management Professional certification
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Already residing in the Netherlands
