What this job involves:
As a Project Manager at JLL, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across our Project and Development Services (PDS) team. You’ll be responsible for supporting a dynamic, fast-paced Operations Team executing a significant number of design and construction projects for a financial services/technology Client. This position requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing internal and external client relationships, optimizing processes, and maintaining the highest standards of compliance. You'll coordinate across multiple stakeholders, develop Project Coordinators, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that drive measurable results.
What your day-to-day will look:
- Lead, develop, and supervise a high-performing team through excellent onboarding, training, team building, performance management, and personal development planning
- Lead all project Operations support; partner with the team to drive program and project success
- Oversee project set up process for compliance with Client and JLL system requirements
- Support and/or lead cross-portfolio and cross-account collaboration efforts to maximize the efficiency of our Project Tools
- Support PMO and Capital Planning in creating & implementing process changes
- Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption of the change
- Reinforce guidelines and requirements established by the PMO
- Utilize PDS technology to support account related metrics involving schedule and financial performance, data integrity, procurement and compliance
- Support Project Management team to deliver on client driven pay for performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Track, Analyze and Report on KPIs; utilize findings to support ongoing adjustments across the project portfolio
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of effective, client-focused services
- Understand and champion JLL tools and manage the development and implementation of additional JLL tools
- Leverage an analytic mindset to develop visualization of key trends and insights for decision making
- Demonstrate flexibility in taking on additional responsibilities and duties that help enhance the client experience
- Foster an environment of teamwork, cooperation, and performance excellence while sharing innovations and best practices across the account portfolio and serving as an ambassador for JLL's core values
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years practical experience in an Project Management or PMO position required, at least 2 years of which are in a management capacity
- Strong leadership, supervisory and people management skills with the ability to motivate, manage and direct staff resulting in a consistent well-managed service to the client
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and work accurately under time pressure while managing multiple commitments
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive skills in anticipating problems and potential solutions
- Process driven and exacting in the preparation of concise reporting
- Dedicated to meeting expectations and requirements of internal and external clients
- Good at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done; understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within construction management or real estate
- Highly proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills
- Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
