About the Role:

The Project Manager in the manufacturing industry is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects that drive operational efficiency and product innovation. This role requires managing all phases of the project life cycle, from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with industry standards. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to mitigate risks and resolve issues promptly. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products and other project management software, like Smartsheet.
  • Strong understanding of project life cycle methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience managing large-scale or multi-site manufacturing projects.
  • Strong Sense of new technologies and how to implement them in the digital signage and quick service restaurant space. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules using Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, facilitating communication and collaboration among departments such as engineering, production, and quality assurance.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests.
  • Manage project administration tasks such as resource allocation, budget tracking, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The required skills such as project coordination, project planning, and scheduling are essential for organizing and directing project activities effectively on a daily basis. Proficiency in Microsoft products, Smartsheet, and other project management software enables the Project Manager to create detailed timelines, allocate resources efficiently, and track progress against milestones.
