Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your project management skills by leading the project team members to fulfill project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the expected project result.

This role is contributing to the Automation – Process Industries business. Main stakeholders are Customers, Sales & Tendering, Engineering, Procurement & Supply Chain, Project Execution teams, Finance, QHSE, Suppliers, and Business Management.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.

  • Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.

  • Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.

  • Managing the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role

  • You are highly skilled in project management methodologies, EPC project execution, project planning & scheduling, risk management, contract management, cost control, and stakeholder management within the Electrification and Industrial Automation industry.

  • You have 12–15 years of demonstrated experience in managing and delivering medium to large EPC projects across Mining, Metals, Cement, Paper, Process Industries, or related industrial sectors, with experience in Electrification and Automation solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience in executing projects with individual project values up to INR 500 Million, managing the complete project lifecycle from engineering and procurement through commissioning and customer handover.

  • Possess good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Project/Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), project financial management, and project reporting tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams, manage customer and stakeholder relationships, handle project execution, mitigate risks, and ensure timely project delivery while meeting quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent Engineering discipline. PMP®, PRINCE2®, or equivalent Project Management certification.

  • Practical experience in site execution, installation supervision, contractor management, testing, commissioning, start-up support, and customer acceptance for industrial EPC projects.

  • You are at ease communicating in English, with effective verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Skills Required
