Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage construction and capital projects from planning through completion, maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete estimates.
- Enter budgets and cash flow for new capital projects and items in the CAPAP system for assigned areas.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contractors, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation to support design and field activities.
- Track procurement activities, long-lead materials, project costs, and change requests to minimize schedule and budget impacts.
- Lead project meetings, communicate project status to stakeholders, and promote compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong telecommunications systems background is the key qualification for the position.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience.
- Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, and project execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of CPM scheduling and construction planning principles.
- OSHA 10 or equivalent safety training preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, estimating, and change management skills.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, be able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
