Our Saint John, New Brunswick team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in one of the most significant cultural infrastructure projects in the province's history. This unique opportunity involves supporting the revitalization of the New Brunswick Museum, a landmark project that will modernize and transform an institution of immense historical and community significance to both Saint John and New Brunswick.

You as a Project Manager will:

  • Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent.
  • Prepare tender packages and trade subcontracts.
  • Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
  • Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner, and communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company.
  • Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow.
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression.
  • Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated.

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have a construction related degree/diploma and five years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in a Project Manager role in Institutional or Commercial construction.
  • You have a working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software.
  • You can confidently mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relations.
  • CISD Level II (Secret) clearance or are eligibility to obtain is considered an asset.
  • Salary: $80k - $130k

Skills Required
