Lead complex Wealth & Asset Management transformation across the Front, Middle and Back Office, driving operational excellence and successful post-integration outcomes.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale Wealth & Asset Management (WAM) transformation programmes, with a focus on specialist change across the Front, Middle and Back Office, Operational Excellence and Post-Integration delivery.
This role will play a key part in overseeing end-to-end transformation across the WAM value chain. You will work closely with client stakeholders, business, operations and technology teams to deliver operating model change, optimise processes and controls, integrate organisations and capabilities following mergers or acquisitions, and drive sustainable improvements to client and operational outcomes.

You'll also help clients identify opportunities to embed AI-enabled capabilities into programme delivery and future operating models where appropriate, supporting innovation while maintaining robust governance and oversight.
What You’ll Do
Lead complex WAM transformation initiatives spanning Front, Middle and Back Office, coordinating business, operations, technology and change teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Drive Operational Excellence initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimise processes, strengthen controls, improve service delivery and realise measurable efficiencies through technology, automation and approved AI-enabled ways of working.
Lead Post-Integration transformation, including operating model alignment, process and data integration, organisational change, transition planning and benefits realisation following mergers, acquisitions or significant business change.
Manage RAID processes, governance forums, budgets, dependencies and stakeholder engagement across complex WAM programmes, using approved AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve programme oversight and delivery.
Translate strategic objectives into executable change across areas such as advisory and client servicing, portfolio and investment management, investment operations, risk and controls, settlements, reconciliations, custody and asset servicing.
What We’re Looking For
Demonstrable experience delivering complex transformation programmes within Wealth & Asset Management, with specialist knowledge across one or more areas of the Front, Middle or Back Office.
Strong understanding of the WAM operating environment and the processes, controls and dependencies connecting investment, advisory, servicing and operational functions.
Experience delivering Operational Excellence, Post-Integration, operating model or large-scale business transformation within Wealth & Asset Management.
Proven stakeholder management and project delivery experience across business, operations and technology teams in complex environments.
Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks, with a mindset of continuous learning and curiosity for adopting AI-enabled ways of working to improve productivity, quality and client outcomes while applying responsible AI principles.
Bonus Points For
Experience delivering change across multiple areas of the Front, Middle and Back Office within Wealth or Asset Management.
Experience supporting post-merger integration, acquisitions, business integration or large-scale operating model transformation.
Knowledge of WAM technology ecosystems and platforms such as Avaloq, Temenos, Aladdin or comparable solutions.
Exposure to FCA regulatory requirements within Wealth & Asset Management.
Professional qualifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP, or experience supporting AI transformation initiatives or embedding AI capabilities (including Generative AI, Agentic AI or intelligent automation) into programme delivery within financial services.
