Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Urbanism + Planning practice in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee the commercial and operational aspects of projects within the U+P practice, including urban design & planning, landscape and concept architecture, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. You will serve as a key liaison between design teams, stakeholders, and external partners, driving project excellence through strategic planning, efficient resource management, and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for urban design initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets; track progress against established metrics and KPIs
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Manage commercial aspects including contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost control
  • Monitor operational efficiency and implement process improvements to optimize project performance
  • Prepare and present regular status reports, financial forecasts, and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans as needed
  • Manage stakeholder communications and expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee budget allocation and expenditure tracking; ensure financial compliance and accountability
  • Lead and mentor project team members; foster a collaborative and professional work environment
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies specific to Dubai and the UAE

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in urban design, Landscape, or Buildings
  • Architectural or engineering background 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, and cost analysis
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders and complex project interdependencies
