The ideal Project Manager role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating across functions, and taking ownership of project execution from order handover through to project closure. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead the execution of assigned transformer projects, ensuring delivery in accordance with contractual requirements, schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate multiple projects concurrently, managing priorities and ensuring seamless execution across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, building strong relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Drive project planning, monitoring, reporting, and risk management activities to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, commercial, service, and customer teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate key project milestones including documentation approvals, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), shipment planning, installation, testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities.
  • Monitor project financial performance, invoicing milestones, customer payments, and revenue recognition plans.
  • Identify potential project risks and proactively implement mitigation plans.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders, providing regular project updates and escalating issues as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support a collaborative team environment.

Your Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline preferred).
  • Experience in project coordination, project management, order execution, operations, engineering, manufacturing, or customer-facing project environments.
  • Experience managing multiple activities, stakeholders, or projects simultaneously would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Hands-on mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive actions to completion.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • PMP certification or other project management certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or other project management tools would be beneficial.
  • Prior experience in transformers, power systems, utilities, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors is advantageous but not essential.
  • Candidates with strong learning agility and a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.
  • Mandarin language capability will be highly regarded due to the need to communicate and collaborate with Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders in the region.
