Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Project Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Report to Waltonen Engineering Manager
- Manage projects related to the design of automotive tooling
- Direct other designers and team members to ensure project success
- Monitor and execute project timelines to meet deliverables
- Delegate project tasks and ensure team members are prepared for success
- Track progress and review project tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain and update the engineering change log and open issues list
- Utilize NX to model and design automotive tooling
- Utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) on a daily basis
- Be willing to travel to customer locations as needed
Qualifications
- Successful experience in a Project Management/Lead role, serving as the primary customer contact
- Ability to model and design utilizing NX or Unigraphics software
- Background in automotive tooling
- Body In White (BIW) experience
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- 3D CAD Design knowledge and experience
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary, with adaptability to fluctuating workloads
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Teamcenter and NX
- Previous budget/financial responsibility for projects
- Associate’s degree or higher in Vehicle Design, Engineering, or a related field
