Job Description
Project Manager/Scrum Master will be responsible for leading technology initiatives and Agile delivery teams, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. The role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, engineers, and operational teams to drive strategic outcomes and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple technology initiatives and enhancements by developing project plans, defining schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Align project objectives with organizational goals, manage requirements gathering, design and execution activities, and maintain effective project documentation and communication.
- Track and manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, resource utilization, and expenditures, while providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID), proactively resolving delivery blockers and managing cross-team dependencies.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, while coaching teams on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean best practices.
- Partner closely with Product Owners, customers, sponsors, and business stakeholders to prioritize backlogs, drive delivery outcomes, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Define, monitor, and report key delivery metrics and project health indicators, leveraging dashboards and reporting tools to provide transparency into project performance and progress.
- Utilize modern project management and collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, and AI-enabled solutions such as Microsoft Copilot and Jira AI capabilities to improve delivery efficiency, reporting, workflow management, and operational effectiveness.
- Support the CTS Customer Solutions initiative to enhance the end-to-end consulting and engagement experience for CDO customers by collaborating with business and technology partners to deliver strategic solutions, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous process improvement. #LI_DNI
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent (4-years) in Computer Science, Business or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience required.
- 5+ years of Project Management and/or Scrum Master experience leading medium to large technology initiatives.
- 3+ years successful track record of delivering projects that meet business objectives as well as time, budget and quality guidelines.
- Proficiency with related software tools including but not limited to JIRA, MS Project, MS Excel, ServiceNow, etc.
- Solid understanding of business functional areas and management issues as well as the IT organizations systems and capabilities.
- Proven ability to successfully lead projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and to effectively manage within it.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills including with executive level presentations.
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
- Experience managing project plans, time lines, test plans, resources and budgets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certifications.
- ITIL or ITSM certifications.
- Proven analytical and business skills.
- Familiarity with DevOps, release management, and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies including servers, networking, storage, databases, cloud platforms (AWS), and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes is preferred.

In-Office Collaboration
We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $100,000 - $137,000 a year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
