Product Specialist – Oracle EBS Finance

Position Summary
Drive the evolution of the Oracle EBS Finance product landscape by delivering high-impact enhancements, improving process efficiency, and leveraging deep functional expertise across the Oracle Finance module stack. Serve as a trusted functional consultant for complex and recurring finance-related challenges while supporting Product Owners in achieving global process convergence and a standardized target operating model.
Key Responsibilities Product Enhancement & Process Improvement
- Design and deliver regional Oracle EBS Finance enhancements and process improvements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, standardized solutions aligned with the global target operating model.
- Ensure enhancements support both regional business needs and long-term enterprise objectives.
Global Standardization & Convergence
- Align regional solutions with global Finance strategies and governance standards.
- Balance local statutory and regulatory requirements with global process harmonization goals.
- Consolidate regional process variations into common Oracle EBS Finance solutions.
Functional Expertise & Support
- Provide expert-level support to ERP Second-Level Support teams on complex and non-standard finance issues.
- Perform deep functional analysis, root-cause investigations, and period-close issue resolution.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and driving sustainable corrective actions.
Product Roadmap & Prioritization
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize enhancement opportunities across Finance modules.
- Define scope and business value for future product initiatives.
- Ensure roadmap alignment with the global ERP transformation and target operating model.
Project Leadership & Governance
- Oversee regional finance projects and enhancement initiatives from design through deployment.
- Ensure adherence to controls, compliance requirements, and project governance standards.
- Support successful testing, user adoption, and production go-live activities.

Qualifications & Experience Experience
- 5–8 years of Oracle EBS Finance functional experience.
- Strong expertise across GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, E-Business Tax, and Subledger Accounting modules.
- Experience working within multi-regional or global Oracle EBS environments.
- Proven participation in process standardization and convergence initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to convert operational challenges into long-term product improvements.
- Understanding of financial controls, statutory compliance, tax localization, and period-close processes.
Technical Competencies
- Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS Finance processes and configuration impacts.
- Ability to design standardized solutions aligned with global templates.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end enhancement lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of integration touchpoints across:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
