Your responsibilities

Process Development

· Responsible for planning manufacturing concepts and production processes

· Analyzing component functions and product requirements to define the production sequence (value stream, process flow)

· Defining suitable production systems and equipment

· Defining the process layout in coordination with local functions and taking the plant layout into account

· Responsible for compliance with planned production / process KPIs

Project Management

· Responsible for creating and maintaining schedules and action lists throughout the industrialization of production processes

· Overall schedule for production equipment

· Sub-schedules for each investment, including task packages for specialist departments

· Responsible for planning and monitoring the investment budget for equipment and tools approved by management

· Planning and requesting individual investment budgets

· Providing functional leadership to process experts (TPZ) in the procurement, installation and commissioning of new systems and production equipment for the project

· Participating in supplier selection

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

· Planning and managing the Process FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for the project

· Defining the PFMEA team

· Defining and evaluating suitable risk prevention measures

· Capturing and transferring lessons learned and technical findings

· Supporting the development, installation / commissioning and acceptance of production equipment

Your Profile

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable role within a production environment.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, industrialization, and process development.

  • Experience in defining production concepts, process flows, value streams, and manufacturing layouts.

  • Solid expertise in production equipment industrialization, from supplier selection and procurement to installation and commissioning.

  • Hands-on experience with PFMEA, risk management, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and drive results in an international environment.
