Job Description
This position mainly coordinates the Plant teams in global projects with focus on Testing to:
- Lead technical exchange coordination of different Automotive Electronic (AE) Plant teams in global projects to achieve the lines synchronization and project schedule alignment (a mutual definition and agreement).
- Track all lines problems/deviations due to assemblies, testers and jigs/fixtures; ensure the lessons learnt are transfer among all involved plants. This includes the SIP processes with focus on all Mi processes and supporting in SMT related issues in close collaboration with PCBA Manufacturing Operation & Engineering Department.
- Manage the change control board for global Projects in order to keep all manufacturing locations synchronized (Focus Assembly and MI). The documentation and tracking of all changes initiated by different parties (such as MFT, AE-TEF8, plants) in a proper system (e.g. RTC).
- Support technical discussion and clarification (assembly and test) with all involved manufacturing locations, supplier as well as related MFTs to find a common solution.
- Support product assembly presentation, specification and technical discussion towards local plant management as well as global AE- Management. This shall include regular status updates as well as highlighting critical and escalation topics to the respective stakeholders in local and global AE organization.
- Track single stations specification creation and updates (assembly and test) for GM VCU to ensure similarity between both sites. That includes a review of all global specifications among all stakeholder and a common agreement to follow the global specification released by the lead plant.
- Join the discussions of pre- and final-acceptance at suppliers (assembly and test) and ensure the similarity of the equipment for all manufacturing locations.
- Control suppliers cost and deliverables (assembly and test). In case of deviations to earlier agreed project targets, measures had to be initiated in a timely manner and the local management to be involved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably 5 to 10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing systems and project coordination
- At least 3 years of practical experience in manufacturing process in term of Project coordination, Change management, Supplier coordination in terms of budget and timing
- Good in coordination and synchronization of global technical project activities with local and international teams
- Knowledge in box-build assembly processes development
- Adequate knowledge in problems solving
- Strong dedication, interest, and motivation to proactively drive new and improvement topics
- Ability to prioritize, plan and organize work independently
- Good team player, cooperative, communicative with the ability to lead others
- Good English writing and oral communication skills
