Your Role
As a Project Manager Supply, your main focus is to capture Supply Chain requirements during the early phases of a project and consult the project for Supply Chain through the first stages. You liaise with many internal and external stakeholders like Sourcing, Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Project Lead Engineers and Project Management in order to secure supply in an early stage.
Your tasks and responsibilities
The Project Manager Supply forms a key part of the supply chain of Vanderlande. Their job is to obtain and secure supply chain requirements from projects from the sales phase onwards. As a Project Manager Supply, you guide sales on value and risks & opportunities during the BID phase. You are to secure agreements made during the Sell, Define and Detail phase in a dedicated VI Supply Plan. You inform and manage your stakeholders across various departments including S&OP, Project Manager, PLE and Sourcing.
During the early phases of a project your responsibilities and activities will be:
- First point of contact as Supply Chain representative for Sales and Project Management
- Analyze and advise projects in the sales phase on supply
- Capture project details in a supply plan and engage with stakeholders
- Identify project configuration and analyze planning
- Support in identifying critical items and create a plan to secure supply
- Facilitate and consult on project specific forecasting
- Liaise with sourcing to optimize supply and mitigate risks
- Advise on default and non-default supply routings
- Advise on how to reach cost optimization
- Capture, document and guard project supply chain agreements
- Handover the responsibility of supply to supply chain execution coordinator from supply phase onwards
- Capture supply chain lessons learned for improvement purposes
- Align with S&OP to validate project forecasts on monthly base by confirming correct volumes and timelines
- Log and visualize potential risks and roadblocks via critical Milestone Board and communicate to higher management
- Being a business partner to assigned Customer Center
Your profile
For this position, we require:
- Master degree in a Supply Chain related field of study
- Working experience (8-10 years) in supply chain related field
- Excellent social and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Project Management and international work experience are a plus
- Drive to win, result and goal oriented with a hands-on mentality

Project Manager Supply EU is part of SCC Europe - Supply Chain Operations EU - Supply to Projects team, and is responsible to manage business priority Vanderlande projects in sell, define and detail phase within SCC Europe.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 5.400 - € 6.400 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
