About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Malaysia. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, as well as a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. 
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. 
    • Coordinate and manage project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines. 
  • Stakeholder Management: 
    • Serve as the main point of contact for all project-related matters. 
    • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. 
    • Facilitate meetings and discussions to ensure alignment and resolve any project-related conflicts.
  • Risk Management: 
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. 
    • Monitor project progress and address any issues or deviations from the plan. 
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and best practices. 
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control. 
    • Track project expenses and provide regular financial reports to senior management. 
    • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed. 
  • Documentation and Reporting: 
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports. 
    • Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. 
    • Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the fintech or technology sector. 
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
