We are seeking a new team member for the SHAPE EMEA - Supply Chain & Operations team at our Limburgerhof location.
Responsibilities: Project Management
- Overall responsibility for projects from initial definition through final customer acceptance, including order review, transfer into the ERP system, and clarification of technical issues.
- Assessment of project risks and identification of critical project aspects.
- Development and maintenance of project schedules, milestone tracking, and management of all project-related data within the ERP system.
- Coordination of project resources as well as budget and cost monitoring, including escalation management where necessary.
- Ensuring effective communication and information flow among all internal and external stakeholders.
- Timely provision of all material requirements following order confirmation.
- Coordination of project-specific customer requirements (e.g., provision of equipment).
- Monitoring of tooling and material procurement in accordance with established processes.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for service technicians (internal, affiliated companies, and customer sites).
- Ensuring complete and on-time project delivery.
- Management of all quality- and shipping-related processes within the ERP system.
- Coordination of procurement schedules in the event of project changes.
- Maintaining complete project documentation and establishing the project structure within the ERP system.
Responsibilities: Logistics
Logistics Concepts & Planning
- Analyze existing logistics processes, material flows, and warehouse structures.
- Develop and evaluate new logistics and supply chain concepts, including warehouse layouts.
- Plan and optimize material flows, storage capacity, and transportation resources.
- Implement new processes, systems, and layouts, including testing, go-live activities, and user training.
Logistics Projects
- Assume overall responsibility for logistics projects, including budget, schedule, and scope management.
- Develop project plans, risk assessments, and status reports.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate with IT, peripheral departments, and external partners.
- Manage tendering processes and technical clarifications.
- Communicate project progress and key updates to management and stakeholders.
Data Analysis & KPIs
- Analyze logistics volumes, inventory levels, transportation data, and process performance.
- Prepare business cases and cost-benefit analyses.
- Define, monitor, and report on relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).
Continuous Improvement
- Initiate and implement Kaizen initiatives and operational efficiency improvements.
- Standardize logistics processes, methodologies, and tools.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with several years of professional experience in the machinery and plant engineering industry, or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Certified Mechanical Engineering Technician with extensive professional experience, or a completed three-year commercial or technical vocational training program followed by further qualification as a Master Craftsman/Technician and many years of relevant professional experience).
- Business-fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Additional European language skills are considered an advantage.
- Strong project management expertise.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Dynamics AX2009.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- High level of customer orientation and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively as well as resilient and capable of making sound decisions in challenging situations.

- Project management experience delivering projects end-to-end
