The Role

PDMI is looking for an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead delivery for critical IT projects that support business transformation and technology modernization. In this role, you'll blend project management discipline with agile facilitation to help cross-functional teams deliver high-impact work—on time, within budget, and in scope. If you're energized by solving complex problems and you thrive in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Since 1984, PDMI has provided pharmacy data processing and other flexible, scalable solutions to help our clients meet their business objectives. We offer transparent, pass-through pharmacy processing and other services for private label Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), vertically integrated health plans and hospital systems. In addition to Pharmacy Benefit Administrative Services, we offer 340B Administration, Hospice and Long-Term Care Services.

Why Join Us:

  • Best Employer: PDMI was voted a Best Employer in Ohio for the 5th consecutive year in 2025!
  • Meaningful Work: Contribute to improving healthcare quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work with passionate professionals who share your drive.
  • Exciting Challenges: Every day brings new opportunities to excel.
  • Flexible Work: Fully remote opportunity (from approved locations within the U.S.) with a company that cares.

What You’ll Do:
As a Project Manager/Scrum Master, you’ll:

  • Lead IT initiatives from kickoff to completion using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
  • Serve as Scrum Master for agile teams, facilitating daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and proactively clearing obstacles to keep progress on track.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans, ensuring teams stay aligned on goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and vendors to drive project execution and transparency.
  • Identify risks early, manage scope changes thoughtfully, and communicate effectively across all stakeholder levels.
  • Champion collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement in every phase of the project lifecycle.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading IT projects in a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or hybrid role.
  • Proven success delivering projects using Agile, Lean, Waterfall, and Iterative methods.
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Project, Monday.com, JIRA, and Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable project plans and timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and time management skills.
  • PMP, CSM, or related certifications preferred.
  • Experience with visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, advanced Excel) is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of change management practices and cost-conscious project execution is preferred.
