About the role:

Step into the role of Project Manager for SAP Releases and drive our digital transformation forward. You will lead the coordination of SAP Release schedules and phases, ensuring seamless integration and enhancement of our global S/4HANA implementation. Your expertise in SAP Release Management, Change Management, and Project Management will be key to our success. Collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams, provide hands-on support, and make a significant impact within our people-centric, innovative environment. What you will do:

  • Coordinate Release Execution: Work with project leads, support, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth release processes.

  • Ensure Critical Paths: Make sure all stakeholders understand and meet critical release paths, managing risks effectively.

  • Lead Release Planning: Collaborate with program and project managers to plan release phases, aligning with other schedules.

  • Follow Up on Release Activities: Oversee the lifecycle stages such as testing, cut-over, go-live, and hyper care.

  • Maintain Release Calendar: Track activities impacting core systems like S4/HANA, S4 MDG, and S4 EWM.

  • Collaborate with Technical Release Management: Align the release management tool with stakeholder needs and ensure optimal configuration.

  • Facilitate Education: Assist project and line teams in understanding and working with release processes in the SAP environment.

  • Document and Communicate: Create and maintain documentation, publish release notes, and provide regular updates and status dashboards.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager in the SAP Release area required, with a proven track record in managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Knowledge in SAP ChaRM, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Transport Management and SAP S4/Hana.

  • You are a person with a strong understanding of governance, system landscape, and DevOps setup.

  • You are a proactive, service-oriented team player with a positive attitude. You excel in connecting with diverse individuals, prioritizing tasks, and providing clear communication and support.
