Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Define project scope and objectives in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Team Management
- Assign tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines to team members.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance to meet project goals.
- Foster collaboration and maintain team morale through effective leadership.
- Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain clear and transparent communication with clients regarding project progress, risks, and changes.
- Manage client expectations and resolve any concerns promptly.
- Accountability and Oversight
- Hold clients and staff accountable for adhering to agreed-upon deliverables and timelines.
- Conduct regular status meetings to track progress and address roadblocks.
- Implement and enforce project management best practices
- Risk and Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor for issues and conflicts, resolving them efficiently to minimize impact on project timelines.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting notes, and post-project evaluations.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and KPIs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (PMP or equivalent certification is a strong plus).
- Experience: 2+ years of project management experience in the software development or IT industry.
- Strong understanding of software implementation methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in English and Dutch, written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive accountability among team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Project Management tools.
- Available to work CET 8am-5pm with reasonable flexibility outside this range to work in a global team.
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands without employment sponsorship.
