Join Ascom as a Project Manager (S&O) and play a key role in delivering customer-specific technical solutions and services from post-sale planning through successful implementation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer engagement, cross-functional coordination, project execution, and business impact.

As Project Manager, you will manage end-to-end customer projects, ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers while coordinating internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions that support revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and long-term customer loyalty.

This role requires a strong balance of structure, communication, and problem-solving. You will work across departments, with external partners, and directly with customers to align expectations, resolve issues, manage changes, and keep projects moving forward.

What You’ll Own

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of customer projects, including holistic planning, communication, implementation, and follow-through after the sale.

  • Lead customer projects focused on technical solutions and service delivery, ensuring project objectives are met across scope, time, budget, and quality.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across functional areas, including Sales, Finance, Operations, external partners, and customers.

  • Ensure projects comply with regulatory and quality processes and follow Ascom SOP processes and related sub-processes.

  • Plan and conduct projects according to established project management methods, principles, and frameworks.

  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, reports, KPIs, RAID logs, issue logs, and other required project records.

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables to support successful project controlling and economic target achievement

  • Manage change requests and contractual adjustments in collaboration with Sales and Legal.

  • Conduct project reviews and identify opportunities to improve workflows, billing processes, project scopes, and business flow.

  • Support continuous improvement by proactively identifying inefficiencies and contributing to practical process optimizations.

What Sets You Up for Success

  • Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Project Management, or a similar field.

  • Project management certification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, IPMA Level B, Scrum, or similar is beneficial.

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager in customer-facing technical projects.

  • 3–5 years of experience in the IT, telecommunications, or healthcare sector.

  • Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, project scoping, and resource coordination.

  • Experience using project planning and collaboration tools such as Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, ERP systems, ServiceNow, and D365.

  • Foundational understanding of Work Breakdown Structure methodologies, project dependencies, dependency matrices, and schedule impact communication

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand how project decisions impact revenue, margin, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to manage project-related commercial and legal topics in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, conflict management, and customer focus skills.

  • Ability to understand Ascom’s product portfolio, market dynamics, and relevant hardware and software solutions in the context of customer projects.

  • Comfortable working across internal teams and external partners to align processes, resolve issues, and achieve business objectives.
