Job Description

Under general supervision, applies experience and training to support RJFS Operations and Administration in driving execution, governance, and alignment across key initiatives and priorities.

Accountable for delivering projects of varying size, scope, and complexity, ranging from small initiatives to large, high-impact efforts with dispersed teams. Focuses on defining the project vision and developing planning documents, while managing implementation, reporting, and performance to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and aligned to scope.

The position offers direct exposure to senior leadership, and close partnership with experienced team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business-side delivery for projects and programs of varying size and complexity; define vision, communicate outcomes, and guide cross-functional teams (including dispersed resources) to achieve results.

  • Develop and manage integrated project and workstream plans, ensuring activities are well-defined, appropriately sequenced, and resourced to meet objectives in alignment with organizational project management standards.

  • Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; escalate as needed and develop practical mitigation and recovery plans to maintain delivery commitments.

  • Establish and execute stakeholder engagement strategies to build strong partnerships, align expectations, and ensure appropriate representation and input across business and program stakeholders.

  • Define, track, and report on business outcomes and benefits; drive actions to maximize value realization and ensure alignment to intended business objectives.

  • Ensure timely and appropriate planning, collection, creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, management, control, archiving, and disposition of project information.

  • Plan, identify, monitor, analyze, and prioritize risks (threats and opportunities), create response plans, and manage the risk if it occurs.

Knowledge of

  • Raymond James systems, workflows, and cross‑departmental processes.

  • Operational practices within financial services and advisor‑facing environments.

  • Project management methodologies and change management principles.

Skills

  • Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Developing and maintaining documentation, timelines, and tracking tools to support effective execution.

  • Creating clear, concise, and well-structured materials, presentations, and communications.

  • Communicating effectively and professionally across teams and levels of the organization.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to drive alignment, accountability, and results.

  • Using standard business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheet).

Certifications

PMP or equivalent certification highly preferred

Education

Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science

The total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
