The Project Manager, Product is responsible for planning and tracking from start to finish new product launches, repackaging and reformulation projects. This position requires partnering closely with cross-functional teams (Product Development, Packaging, Marketing, Sourcing, Regulatory, Production and Creative) and department leads to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables. As an integral member to the team, the Project Manager, Product must be: diligent and assertive to drive process; flexible and adaptive to proactively manage deviations; and engaged to identify and manage project risks.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Responsible for all aspects of company’s new product development and production workflow and timeline
- Prioritize tasks, adjust workflow and partner cross-functionally with team as needed to move projects forward
- Track and monitor progress to ensure timely execution/delivery of key tasks/deliverables by those assigned
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, creating and refining best practices and processes for successful project execution
- Serve as the stakeholders’ liaison and ensure timely communications occur
- Hold weekly cross-functional status meetings to discuss projects, identified issues/risks and collaborate on actions/solutions
- Interpret and organize information from various sources into a clear and easy to reference summary
- Ongoing product lifecycle management including change management – documenting and developing required change controls – and product phaseout
- Collect, build and manage the product specification library
- Ensure all packaging is routed and approved by stakeholders through project timelines

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience as a project manager required
- Experienced in effectively interfacing with people at all levels and across all functions
- Demonstrates strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Position requires attention to detail, adaptability and high degree of collaboration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled problem solver who drives out-of-the box thinking when appropriate
- Adept at operating autonomously amidst ambiguity
- Agile project management experience is a plus
The expected base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 per year. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
