Scintilla AG is responsible for the global development, manufacturing, marketing and coordination of distribution of accessories for power tools for the trades, for industrial applications and for DIY.
Job Description
You are passionate about products and thrive on turning technical concepts into tangible solutions, particularly in fast-paced, manufacturing environments. In this role, you will lead the development and industrialization of accessories for power tools – from the initial idea to market launch. Working at the interface of R&D, production, quality and suppliers, you will take full ownership of global, cross-functional projects in a challenging and fast changing environment.
Your main tasks:
- Take over project responsibility for the development of new accessories for power tools (e.g. drill bits).
- Manage international and cross-functional project teams throughout the entire product lifecycle – from concept to series production.
- Align design, materials and manufacturing processes to deliver high-performance, cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, external manufacturers, and global suppliers.
- Ensure project targets related to time, cost, quality, and technical feasibility are achieved.
- Drive continuous improvement of project management methods, tools and technical processes.
- Report project progress to senior management and key stakeholders in a clear and structured way.
Qualifications
Education: University degree in engineering, such as mechanical engineering, materials science, or related fields.
Experience and know-how: At least 3 years of experience in technical project management – ideally in product development or industrialization of physical products (e.g. tools, mechanical components); Good understanding of product design, materials, manufacturing processes and supplier collaboration.
Personality and working style: Independent and structured. You take initiative and responsibility and enjoy working in an international environment, you are solution-driven and skilled at solving problems, with strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and external stakeholders
Languages: Fluent in German and English.
Willingness to travel: Approx. 5%.
