In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, execution, and close-out to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate communication with customers and Balance of Plant (BOP) vendors across commercial, technical, and project planning matters.
  • Manage and prepare quality-related documentation, working closely with Cummins factories and BOP vendors.
  • Provide site management and project leadership at power generation project sites, including supporting installation and commissioning activities.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring project requirements and expectations are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, schedules, and priorities to support successful delivery.
  • Identify and manage project complexity, conflicts, risks, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor project performance and provide clear and timely project reporting and communication to relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote and maintain strong Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards across all project activities.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project delivery, processes, and customer outcomes.
  • Take ownership of a broader scope of work than a traditional Project Manager role, contributing across technical, commercial, operational, and project delivery activities.
Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally within project management, power generation, engineering, construction, or a related industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of power generation technologies, relevant regulations, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical and operational challenges.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience managing customers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders in a project environment.
  • A Project Management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 would be advantageous.
