The PMO plays a key role in supporting portfolio governance, financial management, and project delivery across a multi-project capability. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial tracking, standardized reporting, and adherence to governance frameworks while enabling effective decision-making through data-driven insights. The PMO Analyst works closely with Program Managers and leadership to drive operational efficiency, maintain project controls, and ensure consistency across all projects.

Role Justification

With an increasing number of concurrent projects and growing complexity in governance and financial oversight, there is a need for a dedicated PMO/Project Manager role to:

  • Ensure consistent governance and adherence to project management standards across all initiatives
  • Provide centralized financial management, including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Improve visibility for leadership through structured reporting (SteerCo, Jen reports, dashboards)
  • Strengthen data integrity across tools (Clarity PPM, ADO, SharePoint, Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint, AI tools)
  • Drive efficiency, risk management, and quality assurance across projects
  • Support detailed project planning activities
  • Enable better decision-making through KPI tracking and consolidated insights
  • This role acts as a critical enabler for the Program Manager and leadership team to successfully deliver strategic initiatives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage capability-level budgets, including rolling forecasts and quarterly funding models
  • Partner with IT Capital Governance to validate business cases and track benefit realization
  • Support governance and oversight across multiple projects
  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and processes
  • Maintain the overall capability roadmap and high-level project plans
  • Track risks, issues, and dependencies across the portfolio
  • Support Project Managers in governance, reporting, and planning activities
  • Provide regular updates and insights to Program Manager and leadership
  • Conduct audits across projects to ensure compliance with standards and processes
  • Identify gaps and drive corrective actions to improve delivery quality
  • Maintain data integrity across:
    • Clarity PPM
    • Azure DevOps (ADO)
    • SharePoint
    • MS tool - Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint,
    • AI tools
  • Support ADO hygiene and create dashboards for project tracking
  • Establish and track KPIs and performance metrics at project and portfolio levels
  • Provide administrative support in project execution

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Technology, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in PMO, portfolio/program management, or governance roles.
  • Strong experience in financial governance including budgeting, forecasting, and variance management.
  • Detailed Project Planning experience
  • Expertise in PPM tools (e.g., Clarity), Agile tools (Azure DevOps), and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, AI tools).
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale, multi-project portfolios.
