The International Consumer Bank (ICB) is home to many of the firm's most innovative and cutting edge initiatives, including new products and services, acquisitions, investments, partnerships and collaborations. This is the business responsible for Chase UK (one of the UKs newest banks), JP Morgan Personal Investing (the digital wealth manager), FinCloud and Accelerator, and strategic investment in C6 (a leading digital Brazilian bank)
As a Project manager within International Consumer Bank, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of change into the Operations function. The Operations Change Project Manager will work closely with the business and technology teams to drive delivery of the business wide change program of work into the Operations function. The Operations team embrace a culture of collaboration, improvement and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Operations impact assessment on new change initiatives, considering capacity, operating model, business impact and regulatory obligations.
  • Manage the delivery of change projects from initiation through to implementation ensuring key milestones are met and plans and project artefacts are accurately created and tracked.
  • Oversee operational readiness activities for new product implementations.
  • Proactively identify potential roadblocks / obstacles and escalate issues as needed.
  • Build relationships with all stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency and information sharing for efficient execution, demonstrating the ability to identify, partner, and navigate with players and key SMEs and functions across ICB/ Chase UK.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk and Control teams to timely identify and address areas of risk & regulatory exposure.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and act as team player in supporting other on-going team initiatives.

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant business side project management & execution experience in a Financial Institution.
  • Highly disciplined individual, self-motivated, fast learner, performs well under pressure in dynamic environment.
  • Extremely organized and delivery focused with the ability to work independently and balancing project responsibilities, multiple workstreams and priorities while remaining focused on accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to deliver solutions to a tight deadline regardless of complexity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment, with people at all levels across all functions including ability to engage with senior management.
  • Outstanding team player in supporting all other workstreams or initiatives managed by the Operations Change team; organized in taking comprehensive project management approach to all book of work.
  • Excellent communicator who can message complex information into a simple pitch, in both physical and virtual meetings.
  • We're a global company whose primary business language is English and so fluency in English is required.
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Strong proficiency with Jira & Confluence is a plus.
