 Job Title: Operational Excellence Project Manager 

Location: Remote with travel expectations 50-60% (Alabama)  

Job Type:Contract 

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operational Excellence Project Manager to join our team in a contract capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing projects aimed at managing project vertical activities for a manufacturing transfer from an existing facility to a new facility.  The candidate would also be focused on assisting the VP of Operations with improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a passion for driving continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage operational excellence projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project goals. 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standardize processes. 
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement. 
  • Manage the projects related to a manufacturing transfer 
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in an operational excellence or continuous improvement role. 
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies. 
  • Experience with Pharma/Medical Device Manufacturing strongly preferred 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
