Inside the Role
The NPP Procurement & Supply team is responsible for leading the P&S deliverables, including implementation of new product projects regarding all aspects of DTNA's supply chain. Our team is responsible for understanding the technical changes introduced by the project, frontloading sourcing strategies, ensuring the launch strategy is aligned throughout the organization, and actionable for DTNA's supply chain. We lead our supply chain to ensure overall launch and supplier readiness execution is achieved at best cost, quality, and delivery. This position is responsible for representing & leading the Procurement and Supply Organization with processes, deliverables, and reporting for the implementation of product projects. Successful leadership will result in achieving successful project launches with cost, quality, and delivery achievement for the supply chain.Posting Information

What You Drive at DTNA
As NPP project manager, you will manage the implementation of new product projects.
Procurement and Supply leader for New Product Projects, ensuring support requirements, status transparency, and functional activity deliverables are achieved.
Frontloading of procurement strategies, timelines, and targets.
Prepare leadership team for strategic project steering meetings: PSC, Product Committee, Management Support, Executive Decision Board, Technical SteCo's
Create, manage, and direct project implementation plans in accordance with the CVDS.
Lead regular readiness meetings with all affected DTNA stakeholders to update, schedule, and implement design releases. Resolve pre-production readiness issues and provide basic technical guidance to cross-functional departments.
Prepare DTNA supply chain readiness measures to ensure supplier timelines and on-time shipments are achieved for product projects.
Establish procurement strategy and timeline project management within organization to drive sourcing with best cost, quality, and delivery.
Consult with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Product Strategy, Supplier Management, Quality Assurance, Finance, and all DTNA TMP locations regarding project contents and status.
Schedule changeover dates that consider supply chain readiness, tooling, materials, obsolescence, service, and quality assurance requirements and alternatives.
Interpret, analyze, and approve engineering documentation to prepare changeover packets for implementation of design contents into supply chain / manufacturing systems.
Knowledge You Should Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related study
At least 1 year of group leader, project lead, or mentoring experience required
3 years of experience preferred of DTNA Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Project Management.
An excellent working knowledge and understanding of engineering and manufacturing systems required
Excellent writing, verbal communication, and negotiation skills required
Ability to create / prepare executive presentations
Demonstrated positive leadership skills required
Clear understanding of Lean practices and principles required
