Although the product is in the later stages of its lifecycle, renewed interest in the platform and significant Original Equipment sales mean that a product refresh is critical to our future success. In this role, you will promote a one-team approach to customer satisfaction and lead a cross-functional team to deliver all contracted project commitments. You will champion robust project governance for new product introduction activities, while also driving cost reduction initiatives to maintain or improve the business case for the current product portfolio.
You will be expected to remove barriers to execution, ensure the on-time delivery of all associated deliverables, and act as the central point of contact for project management activities.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with the Statement of Work (SoW) and Statement of Requirements (SoR). You will build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the key interface between the customer and GE Aerospace.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria
- Developing detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, and milestone plans
- Monitoring progress against delivery timelines and contractual KPIs
- Ensuring all final deliverables meet agreed requirements and quality expectations
- Establishing budgets, resource plans, and staffing requirements
- Managing scope changes, priorities, and project dependencies
- Tracking budgets and resource utilisation to ensure effective project control
- Identifying risks, mitigation plans, opportunities, and interdependencies
- Making informed trade-off decisions across scope, cost, and schedule
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to achieve project objectives
- Leading meetings and conference calls between the customer and GE Aerospace to address concerns, resolve issues, and drive actions to closure
- Resolving conflicts and removing barriers to execution
- Driving effective stakeholder communication, both internally and externally, and ensuring the voice of the customer is reflected in programme activities
- Building and maintaining strong customer engagement through clear, proactive communication
- Managing expectations, reviews, and approvals through the Tollgate process
- Safeguarding GE Aerospace’s reputation and protecting its technology in the marketplace
- Demonstrated experience in project management and customer management, ideally in aerospace, defence or other highly regulated manufacturing sector
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical and commercial environments
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to foster teamwork and collaboration across multiple functional areas while managing competing priorities
- Sound judgement with the ability to propose solutions outside of established parameters to resolve more complex day-to-day issues relating to projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers
- Knowledge of international import/export requirements within a highly regulated industry
- Lean / Six Sigma knowledge or experience
- Experience within an electronics design and manufacturing environment
- Experience using Microsoft Project
- Experience with SalesForce.com business systems
- Commercial and contractual negotiation experience
