The Project Manager (Networks FTTH) will be responsible to plan, facilitate, manage and track implementation projects of all new transmission links, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful completion of network projects is within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

Responsibilities:
- FTTH Implementation Focus: Oversee and prioritize all FTTH (Fiber to the Home) builds in the pipeline, ensuring alignment with overall transmission link implementation, timelines, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Build and manage relationships with external suppliers and vendors.
- Manage communication between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Facilitate the implementation process of all transmission links.
- Manage the order and approval process for new services.
- Establish implementation management processes and tracking mechanisms.
- Ensure internal and external deadlines are met for cross functional implementations.
- Act as the main point of contact for Technology and Operations on new transmission or increased capacity requirements.
- Continuously review capacity, supplier performance and pricing across transmission routes.
- Recommend self build options where supply is limited or unreliable.
- Manage cross functional projects, ensuring team tactics align with project deliverables.
- Track project statuses, dependencies and risks, optimising resource and time allocation.
- Facilitate cross functional alignment between technology, systems and operations through the MOS and partnership agreements.
Consolidate functional reporting and tracking on projects. - Manage contract administration, including expirations, renewals and notice periods.
- Maintain the Master circuit and hosting system.
- Manage and track FTTH and Fixed build projects from initiation, scope to completion.
- Work daily across network and cross functional systems, using monitoring and project management tools as part of core duties.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Project Management Diploma.
- 5+ years' experience in project management, with a focus on network infrastructure and implementation.
- Proven experience managing FTTH (Fiber to the Home) builds and deployments in the pipeline, including end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of fiber infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience with FTTH build projects is required, with a solid technical understanding.
- Demonstrated experience with Fixed wireless builds are required.
- Working knowledge of network monitoring and project management software.
- Working knowledge of managing project budget, quality and completion on time.
- Experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion, including planning, scheduling, risk and budget management.
- Experience working with cross functional teams and managing vendor relationships
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure technologies, including LAN, WAN, VPN and cloud based networking/
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non technical stakeholders.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
