Marketing and Communications provide university-wide strategic marketing and communications advice and develop, manage and implement marketing and communications activities (including advertising) across all Griffith audiences including prospective and current students, staff, alumni, donors and corporate partners.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Marketing Technology, and working closely with internal stakeholder including Digital Solutions, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing and coordinating the development and implementation of the Martech Roadmap program. This role is accountable for day-to-day operations including resourcing, scheduling, prioritisation and task coordination, and delivering objectives and deliverables within agreed time frames and budgets. The Project Manager also ensure successful service transition to product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consultancy support by gathering and analysing requirements, identifying solutions, and implementing improvements that enhance client capability and outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on best practice methods, tools, and standards, ensuring effective adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Manage small projects end-to-end, including planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery within agreed timelines, budget, and quality measures.
  • Define, prioritise, and manage requirements, ensuring stakeholder alignment, traceability, and effective change control.
  • Assess and implement change requests, ensuring alignment with organisational processes and policies.
  • Lead and support individuals or small teams, allocating work, monitoring performance, and fostering effective collaboration.
  • Support sourcing and procurement activities, including business case development, tender preparation, supplier evaluation, and contract support.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, managing communications, resolving issues, and using feedback to improve outcomes. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and standards, including equity and health & safety.

About you

  • The occupant of this position will hold relevant postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

This is a full time fixed term until December 2026 opportunity based primarly at the Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations

Salary

HEW 8 – Base range - $117,579.27 - $132,273.33 + 17% super. Full package range - $137,567.74 - $154,759.79.

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualification
  • Extensive relevant experience (or equivalent combination of experience and/or education)
  • Experience managing projects end-to-end including planning, risk management and delivery
