Overview:
ENG MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes) PM is to manage the small projects process, collaborating with Planning, ENG, Construction Purchasing (CP) Planners and IS PMs to ensure a high-level customer satisfaction for requests, providing on brand solutions following NCH space policy and guidelines and furniture standards. Candidate is to have experience in space management, move management, furniture space planning, with strong attention to detail, communications and customer service.

Essential Functions:
- Develops project scopes, plans, timelines, reports, and budgets to ensure successful completion of projects. Manages project close out, final payment, records retention, and integration into Archives.
- Organizes cross-functional project teams, coordinates and communicates to all stakeholders, monitors project progress, identifies potential risks or issues, weighs pros and cons of challenges, and takes corrective action as needed, advising on preferred direction.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and NCH design requirements and brand standards. Ensures project is constructible and maintainable.
- Selects and manages outside design firms to create construction documents. Conducts drawing reviews and obtains stakeholder feedback.
- Prepares FFE list (Furniture Fixtures and Equipment) and approves PO’s and invoices in the purchasing process. Coordinates fit up and move management activities.
- Processes the construction documents through city and regulatory agencies for approval and issuance of permits.
- Establishes construction bid list, solicits and reviews bids, conducts pre-bid meetings, analyzes bids to ensure they are within project parameters, awards contracts.
- Monitors construction for compliance with contracts and documents. Evaluates and approves design changes and drawing releases. Monitors processing and approval of project submittals, shop drawings, construction change directives, change orders, and pay requests.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or related discipline, required.
Licensure Requirement:
Maintenance of professional license, preferred.
Certifications:
For interior design candidates, NCIDQ or EDAC certificate, preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of general and subcontractor business and practice relationships.
- CAD skills desirable.Project scheduling software desirable.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the construction drawings and specifications, general contract and subcontract documents.
- Knowledge and understanding for compliance with City, State, National building codes and standards.
- For interior design candidates - graphics design (adobe illustrator) skills desirable.
Experience:
- Three years of experience in building construction, interior design, hospital architecture, or related institutional experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing, engineering principles and techniques, interior design, graphic design, various construction methods and installation procedures, preferred.
- Broad understanding of a wide spectrum of materials, their characteristics and their tolerances and limitations, and a general understanding of the operation of various building systems.
- For interior design candidates – knowledge of products, furniture, fixtures, finishes: estimating, costs, purchasing, scheduling, installation and maintenance procedures, and the establishment and maintenance of corporate standards. Signage and Wayfinding knowledge desirable.

Skills Required
