Job Description:
PROJECT MANAGER LEAD EMEAI
Role Overview:
At Huntsman Advanced Materials we are currently seeking a Project Manager Lead EMEAI to drive the transformation programme at our growing Duxford site. This visible, hands-on role is based primarily in Duxford, with travel to regional and global locations as needed, and focuses on turning plans into measurable results.
As the Project Management lead for the Duxford Transformation Programme and a member of Global Manufacturing Excellence, you will work closely with the Site Manager and Duxford leadership team across three key priorities: customer experience and supply chain readiness; manufacturing efficiency and capacity; and employee engagement, training and capability. You will provide the independent structure, governance, momentum and accountability required to translate transformation priorities into actions and deliver measurable, sustainable improvements.
Your immediate focus will be the Duxford transformation, alongside collaboration with regional and global stakeholders. Over time, you may also contribute to other Manufacturing Excellence initiatives across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
As Project Manager Lead EMEAI, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the day-to-day execution of the Duxford transformation programme and maintain a clear, milestone-driven roadmap.
- Create structure across workstreams, owners, deliverables, dependencies and completion criteria.
- Work visibly with site teams—from operators and shift managers to senior and global leaders—to move projects forward.
- Influence without direct authority, set clear expectations and constructively challenge delays or weak plans.
- Prioritise effectively, manage risks and resource constraints, and escalate issues at the right time.
- Establish practical governance and reporting that support decisions, accountability and sustainable results.
Experience and Competencies:
You are an experienced industrial operations leader who combines credibility and assertiveness with a practical, action-oriented approach. You bring structure to ambiguity, create urgency without losing sound judgement and communicate effectively with colleagues at every level.
Requirements:
- University degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, business, supply chain or another relevant discipline.
- At least 10 years’ experience in industrial operations, a strong manufacturing background and a proven record of delivering complex transformation or improvement programmes.
- Demonstrated strength in project or programme management, stakeholder management, prioritisation and change leadership.
- Ability to influence without direct authority, lead through credibility and communicate effectively with colleagues from the shop floor to senior leadership.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma. A programme management qualification or Green Belt/Black Belt certification would be advantageous.
- Fluency in English; German, French or Spanish language skills would be advantageous.
