Project Manager-PMO (R&D)

Job Summary

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Lead the creation and oversight of a new Project Management Office (PMO)
• Create project status and KPI dashboards
• Develop executive-level summary communications that reflect project(s) status
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure project objectives are met
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to cross-function stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in roofing and construction

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s Degree Science, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Economics, or similar field Required
• 5+ years of experience in project management and/or management consulting
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• 10-25% Travel

General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; strong team player

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in project management software tools

Qualifications Preferred

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Stage gate); PMP certification preferred
• Experience with R&D projects is a plus
