Project Manager – IT

Amentum is now hiring for a Project Manager - IT (All Levels) – CSIA position in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:

• Manages, coordinates, and establishes priorities for complete life-cycle of Information Technology projects including the planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of solutions designed to meet the project requirements.

• Determines project needs and acquires resources required for the success of the project.

• Designs project plans which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel.

• Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.

• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.

• Defines, delivers, and supports strategic plans for implementing technological strategic solutions.

• Conducts financial and budgetary analysis to define project worth and to ascertain which system best fits user needs and company standards.

• Selects project team members and assigns tasks and responsibilities.

• Provides direction and technical guidance to project team members; communicates job expectations; and plans, monitors, and appraises job results.

• Plans, initiates, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, and procedures.

• Has experience managing Information Technology related projects.

• Versed in life cycle and project management methodologies.

• Has experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress.

• Able to identify and mitigate risks.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline.

• 10+ years’ experience.

• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

• Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance. 

Compensation:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $140,000 - $265,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
