We are seeking a highly accomplished SME IT Project Manager to provide executive-level leadership for enterprise cybersecurity assessment operations supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
This role will guide strategy, oversight, and execution across a large portfolio of federal systems, ensuring compliance with FISMA, NIST standards, and IRS-specific security requirements. You will serve as the senior interface to government leadership and drive continuous improvement across assessment, risk management, and remediation efforts.
This is a high-impact role for a leader who understands how cybersecurity, compliance, and federal mission delivery intersect.
What You’ll DoServe as senior point of contact for government stakeholders
Provide strategic oversight of enterprise security control assessments
Ensure integration of security controls across system development lifecycles
Guide remediation strategy for audit findings and risk posture improvements
Lead cross-functional cybersecurity, compliance, and technical teams
Ensure quality, schedule discipline, and performance excellence
15+ years of IT experience
8+ years in senior leadership roles within federal IT or cybersecurity programs
Proven success managing large, complex initiatives
PMP or DAWIA PM Level III certification
This position is being recruited for upcoming work supporting the IRS and is contingent upon contract award.
