Job Description

In collaboration with the Director, Project Management Office, the incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering strategic or high‑visibility IT projects, while mobilizing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring alignment between technological solutions and business needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand the business and technological context in order to clearly define project scope, objectives and value.
  • Plan, organize and deliver projects in compliance with approved scope, timelines and budgets.
  • Manage all phases of IT projects: needs analysis, solution options and selection, development, testing cycles, production readiness, deployment and change management.
  • Lead various types of IT initiatives, including web and e‑commerce projects, complex system integrations, SaaS implementations, business intelligence solutions, technology infrastructure projects and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Coordinate and mobilize multidisciplinary project teams, including internal IT resources, business partners, consultants and external vendors.
  • Manage external vendors under both fixed‑price and time‑and‑materials agreements.
  • Ensure clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders and present project status, risks, impacts and recommendations to steering committees and senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to the project management methodology established by the Project Management Office.

Qualifications

  • University degree in computer science or a related field.
  • More than 10 years of experience in information technology, including at least 6 years as a project manager.
  • Proven experience delivering strategic or high‑visibility IT projects with significant operational and business impact.
  • Solid experience managing diverse project types and solutions (web/e‑commerce, complex system integrations, SaaS implementations, business intelligence, and technology infrastructure).
  • Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum) and traditional (waterfall) methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, planning, organization and leadership skills, with a strong client‑service mindset.
  • Excellent command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and strong proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Planner), as well as demonstrated ease with collaborative digital tools and AI solutions (e.g., Copilot).
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Oral and written fluency in French and English*
    A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, partners or other stakeholders in Quebec, across Canada and internationally.

PMP certification or equivalent and knowledge of the travel industry are considered assets.
