job purpose: The Integrated Planning Manager will report to the Director of Operations Readiness and Execution and will be responsible for managing the integrated master schedule (IMS), commissioning & validation planning and executionand the tools and systems used to manage them.

responsibilities:  

  • Lead integrated planning for all large capital projects including the development and maintenance of the integrated master schedule (IMS) to ensure that all aspects of operational enablers are captured and aligned with construction, engineering, aseptic validation, supply chain, and operations readiness milestones. 
  • Manage the hour-by-hour commissioning schedule required to validate and start up new production lines. These activities include FDA validation activities, commercial trials, equipment commissioning, operator training, flavor trials, KORE validations, CIP validations, and line ramp. 
  • Host regular meetings to review upcoming activities, progress to schedule, changes to schedule, and risks. These meetings will be infrequent at the start but will transition into multiple meetings per day during commissioning. 
  • Translate commissioning and validation plans into raw material, operator, OEM support personnel, and equipment needs to ensure all functions of the plant are prepared. 
  • Support equipment factory acceptance tests (FATs) by coordinating timing, attendees, material requests, and the output from the visits (punch lists, engineering changes…) 
  • Develop and deploy standardized commissioning planning templates, milestones, and reporting frameworks across projects to improve consistency and scalability. 
  • Provide clear, data-driven updates to project leadership on commissioning readiness, risks, and schedule performance; support gate reviews and decision-making. 

skills/qualifications required:  

  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related business degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in commissioning, startup, or project controls within large capital projects (food & beverage, dairy, or high-speed manufacturing preferred). 
  • Expert in using MS Excel, MS Project, and other planning tools  
  • Knowledge of supply planning and capital resource planning 
  • Working knowledge of process systems (e.g., pasteurization, aseptic processing, utilities), automation (PLC/SCADA), and bottling processes.  
  • Strong cross functional and total supply chain knowledge.

  • Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety. 
  • Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas. 
  • Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company. 
  • Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system. 
  • Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system. 
  • Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. 
  • In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.

Base pay range:
$125,000$140,000 USD
