Role Summary and Impact
In WPP Media, for the Entertainment unit, we're looking for a Project Manager who is confident in mixing accounting, strategic thinking and project management skills.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Influencer Marketing, branded content, media partnerships and on-field activations, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
We’re looking for someone who knows how to work hand-in-hand with clients, can understand their needs and can lead projects through every single phase — from briefing to ideation, from production to delivery.
A “roll up my sleeves” mindset is crucial to succeed in this opportunity. Given the multidisciplinary nature of our department and the complexity of special projects, you’ll need organization, ownership, adaptability and a great sense of humor (it helps, always).
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the account(s) she/he oversees, acting as the key point of contact both internally and client-side
- Building and nurture strong relationships with clients
- Partnering with the agency’s teams (strategy, media, creative, events and production) to develop and bring to life communication projects, actively coordinating all involved practices
- Leading the project workflow end-to-end, overseeing timing, scope of work and all economic-related aspects (including interactions with finance, administration and legal teams)
- Ensuring a smooth management of expectations, goals and KPIs throughout all project phases
- Coordinating internal disciplines and guiding external partners or talents (including influencers) during ideation, production and delivery
- Managing influencer marketing activities with advanced knowledge of creators, formats, trends, performance metrics and best practices
- Contributing actively to the agency’s growth and acting as the agency representative during pitches, business meetings and new business opportunities
Requirements
- Strong understanding of consumer attitudes, motivations and behaviors
- Proven ability to manage projects and conversations with multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds (live communication, content, creative, production, talent management)
- At least 3 years of experience
- A consultancy-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects with different timelines, priorities and stakeholder dynamics
- A team leader… but also a team player
- Proactive, positive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Fluent in both Italian and English
- Demonstrating strategic foresight, translating insights into actionable plans and driving organizational innovation.
- Cultivating strong internal and external relationships through clear, influential communication and an inclusive collaborative style.
- Levering modern technologies, including AI, enhancing efficiency, automating processes, and championing digital evolution.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, acquiring new skills, and adapting swiftly to evolving contexts and market demands.
- Driving accountability and delivers exceptional value by prioritizing client needs and fostering strong, solution-oriented partnerships.
