Job Description

Location must be: on-site @ Sacramento, CA 

PM III to work with the CMIPS Program Manager work within the CMIPS HPE PMO team to perform project schedule development, schedule maintenance, project team time reporting, development of various project related reports, project schedule and general project metrics analysis, risk management and change control activities. . The Project Manager is central to ensuring timely and quality deliverables to the client. This resource will fill a gap in the team, and ensure HP can manage the project effectively. PMP Certification.

SKILLS Person needs: 

Strong communication (written & verbal) 

Expertise with MS Project and managing program schedules including MS Project Server 

Proactive 

Leads project & milestone planning, project analysis, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities in a project/Program office environment 

Detail oriented 

Analytical

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Tracks and reports on various project artifacts e.g. work requests, change requests, risks and issues. 

Status reporting 

Deliverable/invoice tracking 

Issue/risk/action item tracking and follow-up 

Financial/Budget management (actual hours/forecasts/variance reporting) 

Assistance with other duties as assigned

Note: The Case Management, Information and Payrolling System (CMIPS) tracks case information and processes payments for the California Department of Social Services In-Home Supportive Services Program, enabling nearly 400,000 qualified aged, blind, and disabled individuals in California to remain in their own homes and avoid institutionalization.

Skills Required

  • PMP Certification
